These terms cover your use of merquell.com, operated by Merquell Technologies Inc. ("Merquell", "we"). By using the site you agree to them. Use of the Cardinal platform itself is governed by a separate written agreement.
About this site
The site describes Cardinal and offers a free design check and a free protocol assessment. Product screens and figures shown on the site use example data and illustrate how Cardinal works. They are not results for your study.
Advisory output only
The design check and any assessment output are informational. They do not replace the judgment of your clinical, statistical, regulatory or ethics teams. Cardinal advises. Your team decides, and you remain responsible for every protocol you write and submit.
The free assessment
Before we look at any live protocol, we sign a mutual NDA with you. Please do not send protocol text, patient data or other confidential material until that NDA is in place. We may decline or end an assessment at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, scrape it at scale, or submit information that is false or belongs to someone else.
Intellectual property
The site, its design and its content belong to Merquell or its licensors. Benchmark data on the site is derived from public registry records. Amendment statistics are credited to the Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development. You may link to the site freely.
No warranty and limit of liability
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Merquell makes no warranties about the site or the design check and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
